Itinerary

On arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport, you’ll be met by your representative and transferred to your hotel. Johannesburg is the largest and most populous city in South Africa. It is also the source of a large-scale gold and diamond trade, due to its location on the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills. The remainder of the day is at leisure (unescorted). At 7 pm you will meet at reception for a tour briefing and an opportunity to meet your fellow travelers.
[no meals]

After breakfast, depart Johannesburg for a short tour of Pretoria, South Africa’s capital city. You will have a short orientation tour around the Union Buildings and view the statue of Nelson Mandela. Continue to Hazyview, the safari hub of the Kruger National Park.

Day 4 :
MPUMALANGA

Enjoy an early morning game drive in open safari vehicle in Kruger Park. Eat your picnic breakfast in one of the world’s greatest national parks, home to the Big 5 (rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, and elephant) as well as prolific birdlife and other game. The game safari includes an introduction to the Anti-Poaching Dog Unit (Project Watchdog), a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® EXPERIENCE that was established because of the increase in rhino poaching worldwide. The afternoon is at leisure.

This morning, travel to eSwatini (formerly known as Swaziland), an independent Kingdom within the borders of South Africa. An interactive cultural experience introduces us to the people and traditions of eSwatini. We travel to the beautiful Komati Valley, and visit the Ngwenya glass factory to watch the local craftsmen at work. Overnight in eSwatini.
