This spectacular hotel is situated in the center of Stone Town, set in two seafront buildings magnificently restored to their former historical splendor. The original building was the very important telegraph center which in the early colonial days was the only communications link between most of Africa and Europe. Original equipment is restored on the hotel's top floor.
