Sussi & Chuma is named after David Livingstone’s two faithful companions who traveled with the famous missionary for more than decade until he died, and then carried his body across East Africa so that it could have the acknowledged burial the world demanded.

This is a boutique safari lodge that consists of 12 luxury tree houses and two 2-bedroomed houses, built into the canopy of majestic ebony trees with private views of the Zambezi.

Each unit sits in lavish landscaping for privacy and includes full facilities plus a large, private deck overlooking the river. The central lodge building features a raised bar/lounge deck, open air dining area, curio shop, swimming pool and a spa. All the meals are table d’hote with a wide variety of dishes available, served alfresco, often around a roaring fire in the evening.

Included in the stay are game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where guests can see a variety of game including white rhino, elephant, buffalo and giraffe. The tariff also includes guided tours of Victoria Falls, as well as the town of Livingstone.
