Sasaab is an exclusive, boutique safari camp about 5 miles west of Samburu National Park on the Ewaso Nyiro River. The 8 extensive private tent complexes each include gargantuan Arabian tents built on stilts overlooking the river, each with its own plunge pool. Gourmet meals are served in a marble dining room complemented with the finest South African wines. A private valet is assigned to each tent.

The complex is an ecotourism project in conjunction with the local Samburu people. The area has abundant game -- there is no fence between here and Samburu, and the privacy allows for personal game walks, night drives and camel excursions along the river.
