The Lake Manyara Serena Hotel sits on a cliff overlooking the Great Rift Valley, a dramatic position near Lake Manyara National Park. (The drive from the lodge to the park entrance gate takes about 20 minutes.) This excellent first-class tourist lodge is the largest in the area with 75 rooms, all essentially identical, similar to Serena rooms throughout the circuit.

The hotel has a pool, large public dining area, bar and shop. A variety of activities can be booked at the hotel tour desk, including mountain biking and visiting area villages.
