Kigongoni Lodge
Kigongoni Lodge
One of the many country lodges about a half hour outside Arusha town, Kigongoni is set on a high hill above a lovely forest in a 70-acre working coffee plantation, only a few minutes off the main road. The spacious stone cottages are built in a thickly landscaped gardens which affords excellent privacy.

Each of the 18 cottages includes full facilities, a small patio, queen-size or twin beds, and a very large, stylistic stone bathroom.

Good meals are served either in the covered dining room or al fresco near the swimming pool. There is a inviting large bar/lounge warmly furnished with large armchairs.

The lodge is operated as a not-for-profit in conjunction with the Sibusiso Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of mentally challenged children, and the lodge welcomes tours of the adjacent facility.
