This short safari takes you to the Sossusvlei Dunes where you will see many interesting sights along the way. Sossusvlei is home to the highest sand dunes in the world (1,000 feet high)..

The prices include:

Day 1: SOSSUSVLEI

We will depart at 10 in the morning from Swakopmund , crossing the Namib-Naukluft National Park to the Kuiseb Canyon. We will visit the Goanikontes Oasis, the so-called Moon Valley and have a spectacular view of the Kuiseb Canyon in route. After a picnic lunch near the Kuiseb River, we continue via Solitaire to a lodge near Sesriem for two nights. Dinner and overnight at Namib Desert Lodge [- -d]

Day 2: SOSSUSVLEI

After breakfast, we take an early morning drive to the Sossusvlei dunes to experience the highest sand dunes in the world, hopefully highlighted by a sighting of game. Afterwards we will visit the mystical Sesriem before returning to the lodge at midday. Dinner and overnight at Namib Desert Lodge [b- -d]

Day 3: DEPART

After breakfast, we will return to Swakopmund via the Kuiseb Canyon with a tour of Walvis Bay. The large lagoon area is home to a vast array of marine bird-life, in particular flamingos. We arrive in Swakopmund at approximately 3 in the afternoon, where the tour ends. [b--]
