Upon arrival at Maun Airport you will be transferred by a private land cruiser along the Khwai River which forms the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. A morning game drive will bring you to the edge of the navigable portion of the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is one of the world's largest inland water systems. Seasonally its floodwaters flow slowly from the Angola Highlands into the Kalahari plains attracting an immense variety of wildlife. Journey upriver by boat to bivouac out on an island overnight. Enjoy another full day in the Moremi Game Reserve with its great variety of habitats. Plenty of opportunities to catch glimpses of the abundant wildlife that range here. Elephants are numerous, particularly during the dry season, as well as buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, and cheetah, wild dog, hyena, jackal and a wide variety of antelope.
