Day 1: HERMANUS

Transfer to Hermanus with the remainder of the day at leisure at your lodge. Southern right whales frequent Walker Bay, between June and December, the best time to have the unique experience of watching whales. Just a short stroll from your lodge, the cliff path offers unforgettable views of typical whale behaviors: spyhopping, breaching and lobtailing. If you prefer, you can take a whale watching boat trip (optional and at your own expense). Overnight at Whale Rock Lodge. [no meals]
