![]() Enjoy three glorious nights savoring the invigorating highland air and outstanding resort services that have turned the famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club & Spa into a destination in its own right. It was built by the film star William Holden in the late 1950s as a hunter's retreat, but soon grew both in stature and style. Today it is one of Kenya's most beautiful resorts, located directly beneath the glaciers of Mt. Kenya on more than 200 acres surrounded by dense woodlands. The Club includes a par-3 golf course, tennis, bowls and an English hedge maize. The stables have some of the country's finest horses, and excursions with professional guides operate daily to the many trout streams in the area. Day and half-day game viewing excursions into the nearby Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary can also be arranged, and the club's health and well-being program includes a variety of spa treatments.
